Hidde Koenraad studied law at the Utrecht University specializing in intellectual property and computer law. Hidde has been a lawyer since 2001 and worked at the IP/IT practice of DLA Piper N.V. and Steinhauser Hoogenraad, Advocaten in Amsterdam before joining Vondst Advocaten.
From the start of his career, Hidde has litigated and advised in the field of intellectual property (with a strong emphazis on trademark law, design law, copyright law and trade name law) and IT (E-business, domain name and software disputes). Furthermore, Hidde specializes in national and community plant variety rights, has experience with litigating before the Community Plant Variety Office in Angers and on a regular basis gives lectures in this field in the Netherlands and abroad. Hidde is co-author of a new study within the international organization AIPPI.
Hidde is a member of the Netherlands Association for Information Technology and Law, the Netherlands Agriculture Law Association, the Netherlands Copyright Association, the BMM, the VIE and the European Communities Trademark Association.
